New Classic Collection of Sustainable Activewear with a Focus on Giving Back  

SAN DIEGO, CA - Gone are the days of bland sustainable clothing! Jiva, a new line of sustainable and stylish activewear, is changing the way people think about sustainable clothing with a collection of luxurious activewear. Jiva is made from the softest Chinese bamboo and organic cotton and consists of distinctively designed clothing perfect for yoga, Pilates, the gym, or everyday life. With vibrant colors and unique graphics, Jiva is a new kind of eco-conscious clothing that doesnt sacrifice style or comfort.

Jiva is a brand dedicated to giving back. In addition to using sustainable materials, Jiva will donate a portion of its proceeds to eco-initiatives and will provide online tools for customers to connect with each other, exchange ideas and find ways to get involved.

Jiva is a Sanskrit word meaning life force, says Founder and CEO Vanessa Lillegren. I wanted the collection to reflect that idea, to be a fun and authentic line of activewear that people can feel good about wearing. Jiva represents the idea that small changes can make a difference and possibilities can change everything.

Far from typical activewear, Jiva finds inspiration from fabrics, music, artists and its customers. Each season, Jiva will introduce a new limited edition set of tees and tanks featuring graphics designed by local artists and inspired by soulful songs. The first tees feature a design by artist Jill Bartolo and inspired by the song Light My Fire by The Doors. Each season, Jiva will also take input from customers on their website on upcoming lines. Jiva devotees will have the opportunity to become involved in the design process by selecting cuts, colors and graphics for new clothing items.
